Abby Constable Trio

Drummer Abby Constable is joined by Jaan Pallandi and Dylan Holly (USA)  to present a night of groovy, uplifting piano trio music. 

The trio was formed over many inspired Sundays spent listening to Geoff Bull at the Botany View Hotel, and a shared desire to get together and simply play. The ensemble elevates the bass/drum interplay from the rhythm section into the spotlight, drawing upon the spirit and groove of artists such as Milton Banana, Ahmad Jamal and Ndabo Zulu.  

Jaan and Dylan are both members of the double bass section of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, however tonight Jaan appears on piano.
