The Sydney International Women’s Jazz Festival is a world-class multi-day festival staged across the City of Sydney celebrating women as creators, instrumentalists, bandleaders, and composers.
Since 2012, the festival has hosted a plethora of outstanding artists including triple Grammy award-winning drummer Terri Lyne Carrington and travelled from countries as diverse as France, Indonesia, Cuba, Finland and Japan.
The festival showcases local and national talent, at times collaborating with visiting artists to create exhilarating cross-cultural projects.
With artists performing in a number of settings from intimate trios to jazz orchestra, the remarkable diversity of music represented makes this a festival to truly inspire.
We would like to thank our founding partner, the Sydney International Jazz Festival, and presenting partners City of Sydney, APRA/AMCOS and the Anthony and Sharon Lee Foundation.
