Jo Lawry “Acrobats” Trio
feat. Linda May Han Oh and Ben Vanderwal
Funded by SIMA’s Regional Touring Program

“the album is like a gem tossed high in the air, flashing and sparkling – and somehow never falling.”
– Peter Quinn, Jazzwise (UK)
Jo Lawry celebrates the release of her new album, “Acrobats” with two Australian shows this March.
Featuring GRAMMY-award-winning bassist Linda May Han Oh, with the exceptional drummer Ben Vanderwal standing in for Allison Miller.
All About Jazz points out that the album’s format – just vocals, bass and drums, without a chordal instrument “is one of the most daunting settings for any vocalist. But Lawry handles the challenge with aplomb.” UK’s Jazzwise magazine describes Acrobats as “a fearless, freewheeling delight.”
