From Ballina to Broken hill, to Berridale and Beyond, SIMA is pleased to re-launch their regional touring program, to support NSW artists of excellence in their Australian tours, with a focus on regional and remote areas within New South Wales.

SIMA will support these artist through advertising, PR, budget developement, travel and accomodation.

The Regional Touring Program is a vital component of SIMA’s activities, particularly faciliating the following objectives in opportunities for musicians and audience development:

  • To provide performance opportunities for contemporary jazz/improvising artists of excellence.
  • To develop new, committed audiences for contemporary jazz and improvised music throughout Australia.
  • To ensure that SIMA is an organisation with a reputation for excellence, one which is responsive to the needs and aspirations of artists and audiences.

In 2020, SIMA is offering it’s resources to support you and your upcoming regional tour.
If you have a tour confirmed and are interested in SIMA’s support with PR, Budget development, Advertising, travel and accomodation, then please make a submission through the form (right) by February 28th.
