Lisathe (2019)

Lisathe’s self-titled debut album features nine reinvented pieces of stunning instrumental music, derived from well-known Icelandic composers.

At the hands of Bassist Brendan Clark, Guitarist Oliver Thorpe and Drummer Miles Thomas, Lisathe deliver warm tones and immersive progressions, touched with cinematic crescendos at rare intervals.

The warm tones and immersive progressions of Lisathe combine nostalgic pedal steel guitar melodies with electric bass grooves and exploratory percussion.

Their debut release featured compositions from well-known Icelandic composers, masterfully traversing a range of moods through stunning instrumental music.

Engaging music of exceptional beauty.

Oliver Thorpe (pedal steel guitar) Brendan Clark (electric bass) Miles Thomas (drums)
