“Unpredictable, wildly creative, and uncompromising… Fujii is an absolutely essential listen for anyone interested in the future of jazz." ― All About Jazz

Internationally acclaimed musicians, pianist/composer Satoko Fujii and trumpeter Natsuki Tamura of Japan, meet one of Australia’s treasures, the Sirens Big Band, to perform Fujii’s extraordinary Fukushima Suite and other works. Fujii and Tamura, two of the most original voices in contemporary jazz today are joined in this musical collaboration by the strong, unique voices of the Sirens Big Band, a 15-piece, predominantly female band that is fast becoming a major creative force in Australian improvised music.
