"Beautifully atmospheric" - Lloyd Swanton (The Necks, The Catholics)
“Simply nailed it. Growing up on a diet of Axelrod, Morricone & Vangelis... [I'm] very excited to see the lengths this avant-garde project takes Eamon Dilworth” - Boston Rodriguez (Bondi Beach Radio) Sydney composer and trumpeter Eamon Dilworth (Tijuana Cartel, Ed Kuepper, Low Down Riders) presents new ensemble and album, Viata.
Inspired by a journey through Romania, viata means ‘life’ in Romanian.
Best known for his previous albums with The Dilworths, Eamon has also performed with Dale Barlow, James Muller, The Jazzgroove Mothership Orchestra, Nigel Kennedy, Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy and Asgier, and toured Europe three times with Caravana Sun.
Viata brings together highly regarded improvisers and composers Alister Spence, Jonathan Zwartz, Carl Morgan and Paul Derricott, and forms a pensive soundtrack capturing the mood of Eamon's Romanian wandering.
