Winter Jazz Opening Night: Wanderlust 25th Anniversary

ARIA Award-winning, iconic Sydney all-star band Wanderlust celebrates their 25th Anniversary.  Led by one of Australia's best trumpeters and composers, Miroslav Bukovsky, Wanderlust has become an iconic ensemble with an uniquely identifiable sound mixing global beats, melodies and jazz improvisation.  They are supported by award-winning bassist Brendan Clarke and pianist Hugh Barrett.

Spearheading a new movement in improvised electronic music, five-piece KNOWER represents the best of drummer-producer Louis Cole and singer Genevieve Artadi. Trained jazz musicians creating “hypercognizant, cyberpunk” pop electronica, find out why legendary Michael Jackson producer Quincy Jones is a huge fan.

James Macaulay (Vic) & The Happy Hoppy Orchestra, 'Today Will Be Another Day' Album Launch

Inspired by the Allan Browne Quintet, National Jazz Award-Winner James Macaulay is joined by a powerhouse group of local musicians for the Sydney launch of new album Today Will Be Another Day.  Supporting them, Peter Dasent revisits some of his favourite compositions written 30-40 years ago in a classic piano trio format.
