Three finalists will compete in a thrilling two hour finale for the title of 2018 Freedman Classical Fellow, and the career-changing $20,000 cash prize. Berry Jazz festival is delighted to present one of Australia’s classiest performers and most talented young singer-songwriters with her latest show, ‘Practical Magic’. Described by Fine Music 102.5FM as “Australia’s rising star of jazz and blues”, Frances Madden will perform over a two-course lunch at the South Coast’s most awarded winery, Coolangatta Estate.
Under the leadership of one of Australia’s best trumpeters and composers, Miroslav Bukovsky, ARIA award winning Wanderlust has forged a uniquely identifiable sound blending global beats and melodies with jazz improvisation. The iconic Sydney all-star band celebrates their 25th anniversary this year, playing to packed out clubs in Sydney and Canberra and now Berry Jazz! They'll be playing two long sets with a half-hour interval. Dinner service available until 8.15pm; tables and seats available on a first-come first-served basis.
